My Fair Lady

Design Guidelines and General Parameters    
-Classic production of My Fair Lady
-Authentic period style as much as possible
-Street scenes with flower women to be very bright and colorful
-Gowns for ballroom scene to be solid colors, simple silhouettes, as accurate period gowns would not be available for all women
-Eliza to leave Higgins' house in Act II in something sensible, and stay in respective costume for remainder of play

-Matching formal suits for all men for all scenes, with appropriate hats and gloves
-Typical, over-sized hats for all women for Ascot
Cast: 21 actors (10 female, 11 male)
Production Time: 2 weeks  (4 days for marketing photos)
Budget: $50
Labor:  One Assistant (Simultaneously working on her own upcoming show)
Costumes Per Actor: All had 3 or more
Avg No of Items per Actor: (+/-) 25 separate items each 
Total Items in Show: (+/-) 525 items pulled, altered, built, created, purchased, borrowed, begged, conjured out of thin air or otherwise somehow miraculously provided within those 2 weeks to be worn somewhere in this wonderful performance.
